marijuana

Marijuana may not seem as dangerous as other drugs like cocaine, pills, most people see smoking marijuana as a bit of fun with their friends, getting high and drifting of to another world.

Pot, weed, grass and skunk are words commonly used to describe the dried leaves drug known as marijuana, which is usually smoked or eaten.

Not only are their long term affects from the drug but some people convince themselves that it is just a bit of fun and they can stop any time they like and eventually it takes over their life.
Smoking everyday and putting your body at some serious risks, being high all the time, relying on your next pay check to be able to keep getting high.

Some people do it for fun every now and then and can stop when they want to, you may not think you are putting your body at risk but you still are, marijuana can have an effect on the memory and emotions of a person’s central nervous system.

Whether you are addicted to the drug or just doing it for a bit of fun you are putting yourself at a serious risk so this may be something to stop and think about.
Is getting high, putting all different chemicals in your body worth getting high and risking your health.

There are so many different affects that come with marijuana some being, impairing emotions and health risks.
Your brain is clearer when you don’t smoke allowing you to make better decisions and be able to concentrate you might think that life is better when your high but maybe getting high is not the answer to being happy.

This is something I found on a website http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1808 this is something that a past smoker had to say:
“I am addicted to weed and anyone who says its not addicting is bullshitting you.... YOU will get addicted to the feeling of being high and want to always be high cause it will feel normal after a certain amount of time.....”
“How has weed affected me? I am super lazy some days, i forget alot of things ussualy small things like a test in school or something i have a small case of short term memory loss and long term.....”
If you are thinking of smoking or you smoke every now and than, or you are addicted maybe you should take a look at this site and see what others have to say.

  1. niice post i saw a tv segment on 60 minutes about smoking pot and the guy had smoked everyday and he has really bad memory loss.

i have tried it and i couldnt handle it cos im asthmatic so luckily i cant smoke, but i believe that one reason people get addicted to smoking pot is because you "spin" it with tabaco to make it less harsh. another reason is because people are constantly chasing that "1st High" which is usually the best and you can never reach that point again.

i have done hash cookies and wow they are great and i would say less harsh cos you dont smoke, but even still its a drug and it will cause some damage in some way to your body, which is why i have only done in 3 times in my life and each time there was about 2 years in between the ocassion where i did it

  2. hey Hayley, that's a good piece of information. You can even include here how people pronounce marijuana differently. All in all, it was an informative article.

  4. Hi alistair,
I have asthma as well, so I can't really smoke either even though I probably can but it would maake my asthma a lot worse but I wouldn't want to smoke regardless of having asthma or not.
It can lead to a person having memory loss, I have a friend who smoked everyday and she had a really bad memory she woudl always forget things even mid conversation she would forget what she was saying.
Now she has given up and her memory is muucchh muucch better.
