Pimples, pimples, pimples a word often heard of throughout the teen years, luckily not for all, but for the unfortunate few pimples are an often visitor, don’t freak out boys and girls your not alone and yes it is normal you have hormones on the loose who are going wild.
There are creams and washes and pills you name it they’ve got it but a lot of the products out there don’t work they either do nothing make your skin feel worse or dry it out completely.
It is hard to just say here try this it will work for sure, because there is no guarantee meaning everyone has different skin and certain things work for certain people.
Acne is a person’s enemy nobody wants it but it is not something you get to decide you get it or you don’t.
If you do get pimples here is my biggest tip for you don’t squeeze (that sounds disgusting) I am not a acne/pimple expert but I am guessing your fingers are covered in filth even if you scrub them clean there is hidden dirt that soap will not reach. Not only that but squeezing can leave you with pimple scars.
I have never suffered from acne but I have had a few pimples problems here and there like I am sure everyone has and here is what works for me, if you are a pimple sufferer it can’t hurt to give it a go.
So you know my biggest rule don’t squeeze, rule number two is after any exercise wash your face, even if it just with water and no cleanser, ok now into my daily routine or at least a routine I try to keep.
First of all a healthy diet helps keep the pimples away or at least helps, I am not saying junk isn’t allowed but all in moderation, you will feel the difference almost straight away, drinking lots of water it defiantly is something that will help you feel the difference in your skin.
Besides the healthy eating and drinking water try washing your face twice a day once when you wake up and once before you go to bed also after any exercise in saying this you don’t want to over do it.
I use clean & clear deep face cleanser but use whatever works for you, I also do a face mask once a week(it is a peel off mud mask) and use my magic pimple pen (Nivea Visage young, bye-bye spot stick) I use it for those one of every now and than pimples, it helps dry them out instead of drying out all your skin it just dries out the pimple making it disappear within a day or two.
I have never had terrible skin or even had pimples to bad but like I said I have had my days and weeks where my skin just wouldn’t agree with me and I was lucky enough to find something that works for me.
Good luck.
will definately look into it
ReplyDeletesince i was 12 and even now (after being a medication, roacutaine twice, which was a cure for acne, cos i had it reallly really bad)but i stil get the odd break out and im still always fighting my skin, i found washing twice a day was too much and made my skin worse ,so i just wash with water and verynow and agian i wash with a cleanser. i do a mask once a week also, makes your skin feel great!
but i might look into those products mentioned and try your routine out after i finish trying a ne thing im trying now

ReplyDeleteLike I said everybody is different, a few other things you can try are,
ReplyDeleteusing olay face moisturiser for dry skin it leaves your skin feeling softer and not oily. Exfoliating your face by drenching a cotton ball in lemon and sugar. I hope you can find something that works for you.
have you ever used proactive? is it good?
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteYes I have used Proactive, and I soon realised it was drying out my skin as soon as i stopped using the product also after stopping my skin went back to what it was like before using it.
Apparently it has alloot of chemicals in it which might help your skin while you are using it but you are putting chemicals on ur face and that can not be good.
